Custom software: what people ask.
How much does custom software cost?
It depends on the number of screens and types of users, how complex the business rules are, how much data needs importing, and which tools it must connect to. We don’t publish prices because two projects are rarely alike. After a free call, you get a written scope with a fixed quote, paid in milestones.
Will I own the code?
Yes. Once the project is paid for, the code is yours. You can host it with us, on your own server, or hand it to another developer later.
Can it work with the software we already use?
Often, yes. If your current tool has an API or can export data, we can connect to it or import from it. If it can’t, we plan a clean move across. We check this on the first call, before quoting.
Is it a website or a mobile app?
Most business software we build is web-based, so it opens in a browser on a computer or phone with nothing to install. If your field staff need to work offline or use the camera, we can add an Android or iOS app on the same back end.
What do you need from us?
A few hours with the people who do the work, sample documents such as bills and reports, and one person who can make decisions during the weekly demos. The rest is on us.
What happens after launch?
